Help me congratulate A+J on the successful sale of their home of 30 years!

We met back in January to discuss the sale of their home and like most homes, there was a lot to prepare before we put the house on the market. We decluttered, fixed a few things, and did some minor renovations.

We knew the new buyer would most likely be a young professional or a young couple and it wouldn't be an investor, not a builder, not a bigger family, etc. The focus was to highlight the best parts of this house and really showcase the character and unique parts of this house.

Staging really helped bring those to light and a pre-list home inspection would ease buyers' minds with a house that's almost 100 years old. With the market being so hot and multiple offers are likely, we needed to decide whether we were going to entertain bully offers or wait for offer night.

Within 24 hours on the market we had multiple agents ask if we were going to entertain bully offers. It's easy for sellers to sell themselves short when an "attractive" offer comes immediately.

We decided to give their house justice and maximize the chance of finding the right buyers to compete to drive the price up. Come offer night, we had 6 offers and we sold for well over what our expectations were and more importantly much higher than what the "attractive" bully offer was.
